In September 2025, I was back in Norway with the Science Circus crew, this time with my friend and colleague Cherie Bornhorst.
We had lots of days of playing with science stuff, lots of adventures. And we drank a beer or two….
The theme of the workshop was electromagnetic waves, light, and polarization. We showed how bees use polarization of skylight to navigate and how Vikings used sunstones to achieve the same feat. We explored how to mix colors, how to make images, how to make and detect electromagnetic waves.
